Library services
The library is free of charge and available to all. You are free to use books, newspapers, magazines and the like, from the bookshelves while in the library.
The libraries respect the privacy of the users.
How to borrow materials
You may borrow materials if you are resident of Kadoma city, or commute or go to school in Kadoma city.
You may borrow materials if you are a resident any of seven Kitakawachi
cities or commute or go to school in any of seven Kitakawachi cities, or
a resident in Osaka city.
Commuting and going to school must have the one to prove it.
Please fill in the Application Form for a library card and bring in a piece
of identification, which proves your name and address, such as an Alien
Registration Card, a Health Insurance Policy, a Drivers license or the
like, to the counter when you borrow materials for the first time.
Anyone may borrow up to 15 general books or magazines for the period of
21 days, and 2 audio-visual items for a period of 14 days.
You can use your library card at Kadoma library and Kitajima library.
You don't care even if you borrow at Kadoma library or kitajima either
or you returns it by either.
How to return materials
Please bring the library materials to the counter by the due date. When the library is closed, you may return the materials to the book drop outside the entrance. Audio-visual items cannot be returned in the book drop. Please return these items directly to the counter.
Reservations and requests
Reservation can be made on materials that are borrowed or being processed.
As much as possible materials that the library does not own will either be purchased or borrowed from other libraries.

For the handicapped persons
There are books with enlarged letters, Braille books and recorded books for the vision-impaired.
Braille books and recorded books are also lent out by mail. Wheel‐chair access is available.

Cities in kita-kawachi area are Moriguchi city, Daito city, Neyagawa city,
Sijyonawate city, Hirakata city, Katano city Kadoma city.

Photocopy service
You may photocopy the materials in the library within the limitations of the Copyright Law. Please apply to the counter for photocopy.
